Six Reasons Why Coolpad Torino Received The Prestigious EISA Award
This summer, we received great news. Our Coolpad Torino smartphone received the EISA Award. For those who are not sure what we are talking about, EISA grants this prestigious award every year to the best electronics manufacturers. This year, we ruled the show with our Coolpad Torino. We won in the Budget Smartphone category. The jury highlighted its high-end features and Dual Space security technology for a strikingly low price. Here are a few reasons why Coolpad Torino is the best candidate for the EISA Award.
Yes, we do admit that: We may be a little superficial, perhaps too self-confident, but Coolpad Torino is simply a beautiful handset. A curved screen, white finish, and a decent gold frame – the images show it all but you will understand when you hold the device in your hand in the store. We give it ten out of ten points.
We are no bloggers or YouTubers, but we bet Coolpad Torino’s camera would blow their minds away. The main camera features a PRO mode, so if you are a bit into photography (well, you even don’t need to as everything is pretty intuitive) you can tweak various settings to shoot like a pro. Your Instagram will then look like the most prestigious photo contests. The selfie camera offers a Beauty mode that does exactly what the name suggests – it beautifies you. Frankly, we don’t look perfect all the time and such a feature will occasionally come really handy.
Privacy first. Dual Space Technology
We were inspired to develop this technology by superheroes. Everyone now can lead a double life with the Coolpad. Simply put, the Dual Space feature lets you run two independent instances of the Android operating system. That means you can have a different SIM card for each of them, different apps and be logged into different accounts. This is ideal for split personalities or people named Clark Kent. But seriously, our customers typically request Dual Space to be able to use a single device for work and fun, or when parents let the kids play with their phone (and we all know how kids can make a total mess of Android), or if you just have a secret to keep... because we all keep our secrets. Let us guess... is your alternative self just waking up?
By the way, this is one of the technologies for which we received a security award from IDG at the CES 2016 tradeshow.
You’re right. A fingerprint scanner is nothing special and hardly the latest innovation. But this one is awesome. First, it is located on the back of the handset, which means using it is much more convenient and natural. And second, each of the five fingers can be assigned a different action. These may include taking a selfie (= no fingers in the image), dialing a contact (= shorter time without gloves in winter – cool, right?) or simply unlocking the phone (= true, everyone has that but it doesn’t make it less cool). What more would you need?
Performance and Memory
If Coolpad Torino were just a beautiful design but a lousy performer, there would be no point to it, now would it? There is nothing more annoying than having to wait a hundred years for an app to open and have Snapchat lagging as if you were running a snail simulator. With 3 GB RAM, it runs smooth as butter. And yes, the storage. We must not forget about the storage. We don’t really get the latest trend of not including expandable memory, so you can all breathe easy. Coolpad Torino supports micro SD cards. That’s ideal for those of us who hate deleting stuff to free space. Any stuff.
We could simply say it’s a great bang for the buck but that wouldn’t do it justice. It’s the combination of the price and the tech we mentioned earlier that was the key reason why Coolpad Torino received the EISA Award in the Budget Smartphone category. In other words, Coolpad Torino offers cutting-edge design and technology that won’t break the bank.
